This research was motivated by the low
learning outcomes of students in the Basic Electronics Engineering course,
which were caused by teacher-centered learning, limited instructional
materials, and the lack of interactive learning media. This study aimed to
determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of a Project-Based
Learning (PjBL) module using KiCad integrated with Canva and Linktree at SMKN 2
Probolinggo.
This study employed the Research and
Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which consists
of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation.
The research instruments included media expert validation sheets, material
expert validation sheets, pretest-posttest item validation sheets, teacher and
student response questionnaires, and learning achievement tests. The data were
analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis to determine the validity,
practicality, and effectiveness of the developed module. The research
hypothesis was tested using the Wilcoxon Signed-Ranks Test because the data
were not normally distributed.
The results showed that the developed module
achieved a high level of validity based on the evaluations of media experts,
material experts, and instrument validation. The module was also considered
highly practical, as indicated by the positive responses from students. Its
effectiveness was demonstrated by the increase in the students' average scores
from 77.24 in the pretest to 85.36 in the posttest. Furthermore, the Wilcoxon
Signed-Ranks Test yielded a significance value of 0.010 (p < 0.05), indicating
a statistically significant difference in students' learning outcomes before
and after using the developed module.
Based on these findings, it can be concluded
that the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) module using KiCad integrated with Canva
and Linktree is valid, practical, and effective in improving students' learning
outcomes in the Basic Electronics Engineering course. Therefore, the module can
serve as an alternative digital learning resource that supports active,
student-centered learning.
