Abstrak ID : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Accordion Book pada muatan IPA topik mengenal proses fotosintesis untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas IV SDN Canggu sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi ahli, angket respons guru dan siswa, serta tes pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media Accordion Book termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid, dengan persentase validasi ahli materi sebesar 92.50% dan ahli media sebesar 93.33%. Media juga dinyatakan sangat praktis berdasarkan respons siswa, dengan persentase sebesar 89.14% pada kelas kontrol dan 91.09% pada kelas eksperimen, serta respons guru sebesar 94.29%. Dari aspek efektivitas, hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah penggunaan media Accordion Book, dengan peningkatan pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Hasil uji Independent Sample T-Test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi < 0,001, sehingga terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran Accordion Book pada muatan IPA topik mengenal proses fotosintesis dinyatakan sangat valid, sangat praktis, dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran serta mendukung peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Abstrak EN : This study aimed to develop an Accordion Book learning media for Science education on the topic of photosynthesis to improve the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade elementary school students. This research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were fourth-grade students of SDN Canggu, who were divided into an experimental class and a control class. Data collection techniques included expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and pretest and posttest assessments to measure students’ critical thinking skills. The results showed that the Accordion Book learning media was categorized as highly valid, with a validation percentage of 92.50% from the material expert and 93.33% from the media expert. The media was also considered highly practical based on student responses, with percentages of 89.14% in the control class and 91.09% in the experimental class, while the teacher response reached 94.29%. In terms of effectiveness, the results indicated an improvement in students’ learning outcomes after using the Accordion Book media, with the improvement in the experimental class being greater than that in the control class. The results of the Independent Samples T-Test showed a significance value of < 0.001, indicating a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students in the experimental and control classes. Therefore, the Accordion Book learning media for Science education on the topic of photosynthesis was considered highly valid, highly practical, and effective for use in learning and for supporting the improvement of critical thinking skills among fourth-grade elementary school students.
