Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Komik Digital Pada Pembelajaran IPS Terhadap Minat Belajar Siswa
Development of Digital Comic Learning Media in Social Studies Learning Interests in Middle School Students' Learning
Pembelajaran IPS merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang diajarkan ditingkat SMP/MTs dengan didalamnya mempelajari ilmu-ilmu sosial yang disederhanakan antara lain Geografi, Sosiologi, Sejarah dan Ekonomi. Materi pembelajaran IPS yang cenderung banyak dan berupa bacaan, konsep serta bersifat hafalan membuat siswa banyak yang pasif saat kegiatan pembelajaran IPS, kurang menarik, terasa jenuh, membosankan, dan santusias untuk mengikuti proses pembelajaran IPS, diperlukan adanya variasi dalam menyampaikan materi IPS. pengembangan media pembelajaran komik digital dilakukan sebagai upaya menumbuhkan minat belajar siswa dengan metode Research and Development (R&D) menggunakan model ADDIE yang ada lima tahap didalamnya Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Hasil pengembangan dan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Media pembelajaran komik digital sangat layak digunakan untuk meyampaikan materi pembelajaran IPS dengan dasar validasi ahli materi dan ahli media pembelajaran dengan prosesntase materi dalam media sebesar 80% dan media pembelajaran sebesar 88,23%; 2) Media pebelajaran komik digital sangat praktis digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran IPS dengan dasar penilaian praktisis pendidikan dengan prosesntase 93,33% serta dapat menumbuhkan minat belajar yang tinggi terhadap siswa dengan dasar respon angket minat belajar oleh siswa dengan prosentase 64,23% dengan kualifikasi tinggi untuk menumbuhkan minat belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajaran IPS.
IPS learning is one of the subjects taught at the SMP/MTs level by studying simplified social sciences including Geography, Sociology, History and Economics. Social studies learning materials tend to be a lot and are in the form of readings, concepts and are rote in nature making many students passive during social studies learning activities, less interesting, feel bored, boring, and enthusiastic about following the social studies learning process, it is necessary to have variations in conveying social studies material. the development of digital comic learning media is carried out as an effort to foster student interest in learning with the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model which has five stages including Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The results of development and research show that: 1) Digital comic learning media is very suitable to be used to convey social studies learning material on the basis of validation of material experts and learning media experts with a process of material in the media of 80% and learning media of 88.23%; 2) Digital comic learning media is very practical to use in the social studies learning process on the basis of educational practitioner assessments with a percentage of 93.33% and can foster a high interest in learning from students on the basis of questionnaire responses to interest in learning by students with a percentage of 64.23% with high qualifications to foster students' learning interest in social studies learning process.
